Evidently I'm late to the party with this YouTube channel but it's full of well researched and insightful video essays.

I came to the channel after recently rewatching The Last Jedi in advance of The Rise of Skywalker coming out next month. The video on how that film defies expectations of male characters does so well at articulating its case for why certain corners of internet threw their toys out the pram over a great film.

I'm going to spend some time going into the back catalogue where it looks like Jonathan McIntosh, the channel's creator, isn't shying away from tough topics.
