I’m going to be running my first marathon next April and I’m both nervous and excited about it.

I log all my runs in Strava and I like to keep a journal of them all in Day One where I’ll write a few thoughts about how the run went, what went was good, what maybe didn't go so well.

I’ve managed to automate the process using two services. The first is called FeedMyRide which sounds as though it’s for cyclists but it’s for anyone with a Strava account and creates an RSS feed for your activities.

Next I’ll take the RSS feed for my Strava data and then use a custom shortcut that parses the feed and formats the data into a listed format with the activity distance, time, pace, a link to the activity, and the option to add my own comments too.
